You can use FreePDF to insert pictures and images into your document. This can be done via two different methods:

Method 1: Drag & drop

  • Drag one or more images directly into the open PDF document.
  • The images are immediately inserted and stacked on top of each other if multiple images are inserted at the same time.
  • You can then use the mouse to move the images to the desired positions.

Method 2: Using the ribbon

  • In the ribbon, choose the command Insert | Objects | Image.
  • In the file dialog that appears, select the desired image file.

Moving and scaling images

  • Select the Object tool in the Quick access toolbar.
  • This allows you to easily move and resize images.

Saving compact PDFs with downscaled images

If you choose the command File | Save as | Save as (reduced size), you create particularly compact PDFs, as this command reduces the size of images in a PDF file or converts them into particularly compact JPEGs.
